is part of a 36 year tradition of comfort and care. He received his BS as a pre-medical student from Springfield College, Massachusetts. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. Following dental school Dr. Schmidt entered the U.S. Army. He ultimately served in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star for meritorious service. In addition he received the Grateful Appreciation award from the Disabled American Veterans.
Since establishing his practice in the heart of Saddle River, Dr. Schmidt has dedicated his professional career to providing his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. He is continually educating himself and his staff on the latest techniques in order to provide up-to-date dental advances and state-of-the-art, comfortable, personalized and antiseptic dental care.
In his continuing education, Dr. Schmidt has completed courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, periodontics, crowns and bridges as well as TMJ bite related problems and headaches. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International College of Implantology, New Jersey State Dental Society, Bergen County Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society. Dr. Schmidt has also had the privilege of meeting monthly since 1996 with eight other top dentists in the tri-state area in the Mastermind Dental Study Group.
